Dr. Karimian is a graduate of the University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine in Glasgow, United Kingdom. She is thrilled to bring her passion for compassionate, highquality care to North Torrington Veterinary Hospital. With over 13 years of experience in small animal medicine in Avon, she honed her skills and has built her reputation on fostering long-term relationships with pets and their owners. She believes in treating every patient as if they were her own, focusing on proactive wellness and open communication with pet parents. Dr. Karimian has a particular interest in internal medicine and orthopedic cases, but enjoys all aspects of general practice.

Dr. Christina Dolan, a Connecticut native, earned her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania in 1998 and has practiced locally ever since. She values preventative care, excels in surgery and internal medicine, and strives to keep pets comfortable during visits. Outside of work, she enjoys time with family, friends, and her spoiled cat.

Dr. LaVacca, a New York native, earned her DVM from Ross University in 2016 with a clinical year at Cornell. Certified in Canine Rehabilitation and Fear Free, she has special interests in endocrinology, pain management, and mobility care. Outside the clinic, she enjoys horseback riding, hiking with her dog Sydney, and visiting her family's Catskill farmhouse.
